Each painting in the Evoke Collection was inspired by a song or a poem. The words were written onto the panel in charcoal, and oil paint was used to create an abstract image overtop the words to depict the feeling of the piece. There are spots where the words peak through, and the white threads of connection draw you through each piece and unify the collection as a whole.
