Fire Trail, 11"x14"

Oil Paint and Charcoal on Wood Panel

The poem, “A Finger, Two Dots, Then Me,” by Derrick Brown was introduced to me by a friend on instagram when I asked for songs & poems that had inspired them. I read it through, completely captivated, and then read it three more times. The imagery Brown uses to convey his thoughts about relationships, love, and forever were clear in my mind. I imagined the idea of souls racing through outer space, and this painting was born.

The painting is signed, wired, and ready to hang. It was painted on a lightweight wooden panel that is 2” deep and can be framed if you would like.
