We Fall, 16"x20"
Oil Paint & Charcoal on Wood Panel
Inspired by the song, “Atlantis,” by Seafret
Inspired by the song “Atlantis” by Seafret, “We Fall” captures the quiet ache of unresolved words and the echo of heartbreak. Before the first brushstroke, the lyrics were written in charcoal on the wood panel—fragments of them still whisper through the layers of oil paint like distant memories. I imagined a dusky highway, empty and stretching endlessly, the kind you drive down fast after an argument when you're too young to know what to say and too proud to turn around. The colors are pulled from that feeling—restless, raw, and charged with something just out of reach. This piece holds the weight of what goes unspoken and the beauty of remembering who we once were.
