Halcyon, 11”x14”

$200.00

Oil Painting on Wood Panel, 11”x14”

I’ve never seen calmer water than the ocean was this day. We had come to the same beach the day before, but the clear blue waters were muddied with seaweed and big waves slammed against us. I always love being at the ocean, but we could only be in the water for a bit before we were tangled in seaweed and tired from fighting the waves. We went back the next day, ready to fight a losing battle with the ocean. (Even losing battles are enjoyable ones when you’re at the beach though.) We were surprised with a calm ocean. No seaweed and barely any waves. We floated for hours, enjoying the gentle rocking of the tides, only pausing to get cubanos from a small shop down the block.
